Responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems of industrial establishment by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

   Adherence to “Lock-out-Tag-out” policy.

   Knowledge of 5-S and demonstrate cleaning after each job.

   Knowledge of emergency set up procedures for proper recovery of a power loss.

   Knowledge of work order system, and stock room procedures.

   General knowledge of plant utility system.

   Lubricants: Identify lubricants and correct application for each machine.

   Basic welding: torch cutting, stick, mig, tig…

   Programmable controllers: bring up logic circuits and read to trouble shoot. Change switches, repair broken connections, and solenoid valves.

   Measuring tools: micrometer, calipers, rules, pressure gauges, indicator amp meters, multimeters.

   Interface with basic pc software and hardware to maintain work order and preventive maintenance system.

   If repairs cannot be made in accordance to protocol, Maintenance personnel will stop repairs, consult with Maintenance Supervisor and/or Engineer. (Stop, Call and Wait).


Supervisory Responsibilities:

   This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



Education and Experience:

   Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and / OR one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
