Job Description

Scope of Position:

The Solutions Developer will create technology products and services to accomplish particular goals for clients by providing a balance of technical depth, strong interpersonal skills and software design and development. They will focus on analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems in order to build, automate or improve existing systems. They will be ale to assess the need, design and delivery of products and services that add value while following generally accepted programming practices and procedures. The ability to connect technology with measurable business vales is critical to the team.


 Perform with a service-focused mindset with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services.

 Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.

 Review and document existing business processes to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing applications and develop strategies and recommendations for improving or further leveraging these applications.

 Analyze and fully understand project requirements to formulate and implement effective and efficient solutions.

 Design, develop, and maintain client software in accordance with client specifications, following general programming practices and procedures.

 Perform unit, integration and functional testing to verify code meets specifications and requirements.

 Conduct production environment research, monitoring, and problem solving in collaboration with service desk and project manager ensuring functioning of software.

 Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.

 Advise, mentor, train or assist developers at other skill levels.


 5+ years’ experience as a Software Developer.

 Strong understanding of SQL and database relationships.

 Prior experience in a technical leadership position.

 College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

 The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated initiative, strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed.

 The individual should possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to express complex technical concepts effectively to people of varying disciplines and levels within the organization.

 Appropriate candidate must have a BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related business field and knowledge of application design, development, and support.

 Technical skills and familiarity with SQL, .Net, Visio, Project Management and Business Analyst methodologies.
