Civil Roadway Engineer

We are currently looking for a Civil Roadway Engineer with 3-5 years of roadway design experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently designing and drafting roadway and drainage projects using AutoCAD
• Design experience and plans preparation for roadways, drainage, water and sanitary sewer
• Developing maintenance of traffic schemes, construction phasing and traffic control plans
• Developing project cost estimates and specifications
• Managing projects/tasks of various sizes for a variety of clients
• Managing client relationships with public and private clients, including contractors
• Coordinating roadway and drainage design tasks with other service groups

Required Attributes:

• Education: Bachelors Degree
• Specific Degree Required: Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Years of Experience: 3-5
• Computer Skills Required: AutoCAD, Misc design software
• High proficiency using AutoCAD for design and plans preparation.
• Need to be organized, have good technical writing and communication skills, and be a self-starter.
• Must be able to take a project from inception to completion, including design and drafting.
