Job Description
Position Overview
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in supporting our employees, helping with benefits, and ensuring consistency across multiple company locations. The ideal candidate is well-versed in HR practices, highly organized, and comfortable with monthly travel to other company locations; all expenses reimbursed including overnight stays
Key Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and policy interpretation.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR matters across multiple locations.
- Utilize the PRISM HRIS system to manage employee records, track compliance, and run HR reports.
- Partner with managers and department heads to support workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct monthly visits to satellite offices (travel required at least once per month). All related travel and lodging expenses will be covered.
- Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Support recruiting efforts and coordinate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.
- Participate in special projects and company-wide initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of generalist-level HR experience.
- Experience with PRISM HRIS or a similar system strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel monthly to other company locations (overnight stays may be required).
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
