Job Summary:

The Procurement Coordinator plays a key role in providing product and service sourcing, as well as essential store support. This includes timely response and resolution to store needs and operational challenges. The role supports procurement operations through vendor communication, internal request management, virtual system troubleshooting, and reporting assistance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent service to both internal teams and external partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer ticketing system submissions and manage the purchasing inbox; respond to inquiries and route requests to appropriate team members.
  • Handle day-to-day interactions with vendors and administer assigned services.
  • Place and follow up on orders for company travel centers or food concepts; confirm receipt with vendors and stores.
  • Support virtual warehouse systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with service providers and vendors.
  • Assist with the setup of new vendors through coordination with the Accounts Payable team.
  • Model behaviors that align with the company’s core values; ensure team members and guests receive top-tier service.
  • Assist leadership with monthly and ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Follow up with internal team members to ensure timely ticket resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular data analysis on vendor performance and service metrics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience with ticketing or procurement systems
  • Familiarity with the hospitality, retail, or food service industries
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
