Summary: The Project Manager (Level 1) in the IT Department will assist in planning, executing, and closing projects under the guidance of the Manager, PMO. This role involves coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of project plans, including defining scope, objectives, and timelines.

• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure successful project execution

• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and update project schedules

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and team members

• Assist in preparing project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and meeting minutes

• Conduct research and gather information to support project planning and decision-making

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently

• Identify and escalate potential project risks and issues to senior project managers

• Support the implementation of project management best practices and methodologies

• Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field

• Experience in project management or related fields

• Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Monday, Confluence, Jira)

• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies

Language Ability:

Must have good reading, writing, and speaking skills to effectively communicate with managers, and co-workers.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to develop and interpret charts.

Reasoning Ability:

Perform under pressure and/or opposition at times relying on your own independent judgment and knowledge to decide the best directions and solutions. While representing the company, the marketing coordinator will be required to determine answers to questions and situations which may be socially or politically volatile. Execution and communication of such solutions are often in the public eye.

Computer Skills:

Demonstrate advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to Word, PPT, Excel, and Project.
