Ultrasound Technologist – OB/GYN

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and credentialed Ultrasound Technologist with proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology imaging to join our clients team! This role is essential to delivering diagnostic excellence in a high-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be RDMS-certified, patient-focused, and capable of producing high-quality sonographic images to support critical clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures focused on obstetric and gynecologic imaging in accordance with physician directives.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with a high degree of accuracy and technical proficiency.
• Ensure image clarity, anatomical detail, and diagnostic quality in all scans.
• Communicate exam protocols to patients and obtain relevant clinical history.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to interpret and communicate findings promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Uphold safety, privacy, and compliance standards in line with HIPAA and facility guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• RDMS Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) by ARDMS (must be active and in good standing).
• Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on OB/GYN ultrasound experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Proficient in transabdominal and transvaginal sonographic techniques.
• Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy, maternal health indicators, and abnormality screening protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional bedside manner.
