Job Description
A rapidly growing manufacturing and engineered solutions company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and production of custom fabricated products and integrated mechanical systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on manufacturing environments and designing real-world solutions that move from concept to production.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software
- Create efficient, manufacturable designs for fabricated and welded components
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications to support production and quality teams
- Collaborate with production, sales, and operations to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Troubleshoot fabrication and manufacturing challenges to improve outcomes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help standardize engineering best practices
- Maintain drawing and document control in compliance with quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong CAD experience (Inventor or similar 3D modeling software)
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
