Job Description
We are currently seeking full-time sales support in the Knoxville, TN area to assist with continued growth.
Broker Sales Agent Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary contact for insurance brokers/agents.
- Provide superior Sales Support to agents with inbound and outbound calls to/from our registered brokers who may be interested in our products/services or are interested in becoming appointed to sell.
- Build rapport and relationships with brokers.
- Remain current on product offerings, enhancements, and/or changes.
- Follow other products/services in the marketplace for better communication with brokers.
- Work with the Sales/Marketing team to offer support on items needed to enhance sales through brokers.
- Provide Customer Service support to broker, including, but not limited to:
- Coordinate the licensing & appointment process for new brokers.
- Provide training and answer questions on products available.
- Train brokers and answer questions regarding online portals and technology.
- Acknowledge and resolve broker complaints or concerns.
- Provide Administrative Support in relation to broker accounts.
- Maintain current client files in an orderly manner through the use of automated files.
- Manage precise data.
- Work on other tasks as they arise such as assigned special projects and development of new ideas/services, as requested.
- Document all activities.
Broker Sales Agent Qualifications:
- Associate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Previous insurance background, Life and Health licenses preferred.
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with brokers.
- A motivated self-starter who takes pride in his/her level of production.
- Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel), internet, and other related computer applications.
