Accounting Supervisor

We’re partnering with an exciting company in the high-end residential construction space (think luxury cabins and custom builds — the kind that belong in magazines) that’s looking to bring on an experienced, hands-on Accounting Supervisor. Here’s the deal:

This role is perfect for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, build a team from the ground up, and help shape how accounting functions as the business scales. You’ll work closely with a Controller who’s already laying the groundwork, and together you’ll turn “organized chaos” into a well-oiled machine.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Playing a key role in standing up and refining accounting systems and processes
• Owning day-to-day transactional accounting (at least for now — until the team’s built out)
• Hiring, training, and mentoring a new accounting team
• Leading AP and AR functions — including vendor calls, payment terms, and client billing
• Supporting reporting around job costing, forecasting, and budget health
• Jumping into bank recs and financial analysis down the line
• Working with software like QuickBooks Online and Buildertrend
• Pitching in on reporting projects and ad hoc accounting assignments

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in an accounting leadership or supervisory role
• Deep knowledge of AP/AR, and a solid grasp of core accounting principles
• Someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments
• A collaborative mindset — you’re just as comfortable leading a team as you are working with vendors or project managers
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in construction or job-costing environments
• Double bonus if you’ve got QuickBooks Online experience
