Administrative Assistant – Professional Services Firm

A high‑performing, privately owned professional services firm with a dynamic culture and strong national reputation is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its Operations Team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals in a collaborative environment that values excellence, innovation, and client service.

Responsibilities

Perform basic accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations and posting journal entries

Support the Finance Team with analysis and tasks related to accounts payable, payroll, and expense reimbursements

Compile, pull, and synthesize information for various reports and ad‑hoc requests

Assist the Operations and Finance Teams with administrative tasks such as scanning, organizing, and documentation

Provide general support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations

Requirements

2+ years of administrative and accounting experience (experience in a professional services environment preferred)

Prior customer service experience is a plus

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Salesforce experience is a plus

Highly detail‑oriented with strong initiative, judgment, and ownership of assigned tasks

Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines amid multiple competing demands

Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills

Position Details

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Overtime required as needed, particularly during peak periods
