Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business Developer / Sales Director to drive strategic revenue growth, expand market share, and develop high-value client relationships. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader who thrives in creating and executing go-to-market strategies, leading enterprise-level deals, and mentoring teams to exceed sales targets.
The successful candidate will be both a hands-on rainmaker and a strategic leader, capable of identifying new opportunities, closing complex deals, and scaling long-term revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in target markets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise-level prospects.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and partnership agreements.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level and executive decision-makers.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships to maximize account revenue.
- Partner with client success and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for new verticals or geographies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry shifts to adjust strategy.
- Mentor and support junior business development or account executives (if applicable).
- Report on KPIs, revenue forecasts, and pipeline health to executive leadership.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns and brand positioning.
- Coordinate with operations and finance on pricing strategies, contract structures, and profitability analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years in B2B business development or sales leadership, preferably in [industry].
- Proven track record of exceeding $X annual sales quotas or leading teams to revenue milestones.
