Our client is a dynamic and growing company seeking a detail-oriented and efficient HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth payroll processing, employee onboarding, and compliance with HR policies. Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Enter and verify employee time data
- Process payroll and submit it to a third-party provider for check distribution.
- Ensure accuracy in payroll calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
HR & Onboarding:
- Facilitate new employee onboarding, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Set up employees in payroll and benefits systems.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
- Track workers’ compensation claims and coordinate required documentation.
Compliance & Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records in HR and payroll systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
- Track and manage employee safety sheets and compliance documentation.
- Assist with audits and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and ReadyPay (or similar payroll systems).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
