A growing organization in the Knoxville area is seeking a detail‑oriented Materials Control Clerk to support inventory accuracy, materials flow, and production needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working in a fast‑paced environment, and ensuring materials are exactly where they need to be—when they need to be there.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts

Track materials movement throughout the warehouse and production areas

Update ERP/MRP systems with incoming, outgoing, and transferred materials

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation of all materials

Assist with shipping/receiving activities as needed

Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies

Prepare and maintain reports related to material usage and inventory levels

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in materials control, inventory, warehouse support, or related field

Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability

Comfortable working with inventory systems and basic computer skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
