Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to managers on electronic timesheets during payroll cycles.
  • Import hours from the time and attendance system into the payroll system.
  • Process direct deposit enrollments and changes.
  • Manage and maintain all related functions in the time and attendance system.
  • Process manual payroll transactions submitted by Human Resources.
  • Execute periodic payrolls, including system processing, printing, and preparing paychecks and vouchers.
  • Submit direct deposit files to the financial institution.
  • Respond to inquiries from managers and employees regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by leadership and administration.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, supporting continuous evaluation and implementation of process enhancements.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Business preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll-related experience required.
  • Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing, from timesheet import through final approval and funding.
  • Experience with garnishments, child support, and other payroll deductions.
  • Prior responsibility for payroll in a 2,000+ employee population.
  • UKG Pro WFM experience highly preferred (candidates with this will be prioritized).
