Job Description
- 7+ years of progressive experience in People/HR Operations, with at least 2+ years of people management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; HRCI/SHRM certification a plus.
- Strong expertise in policy development, compliance, and employee lifecycle operations.
- Deep knowledge of leave regulations across the U.S. (federal, state, local) and Canadian jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS, payroll, compliance platforms) with hands-on experience driving system improvements and implementations.
- Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with Payroll, Legal, Finance, and IT.
- Experience balancing compliance with employee experience to build scalable, people-friendly processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable documentation and guidance.
